Our sizing has been specifically developed for stronger, more athletic body shapes.

We consulted people from all over the fitness and sporting community to help us create the best possible quality and fit for men with athletic physiques.

We’ve tested across a wide range of athletic body shapes, from Premiership rugby players through to personal trainers, crossfit athletes and fitness fanatics. This has ensured that we can create beautifully crafted clothing that is stylish, comfortable and fits your body shape the way it should do – featuring unique tailoring for flexibility and comfort in key areas such as the shoulders, upper arms, legs and thighs.

We're also proud to have one of the best in the business designing our clothing – co-founder Fred Willems – who has previously created collections for Levi, Pringle and Gieves & Hawkes and most recently was Head of Design for Thomas Pink (LVMH) menswear, working in partnership with the British and Irish Lions in 2013 and 2017 as official outfitter and menswear supplier for the staff and squad.

Our first range is designed to be ‘semi-fitted’ – comfortable but complimentary to your body shape. If you prefer a more relaxed fit, we would suggest ordering a size up, and if you prefer a tighter fit, size down. Don’t forget you can order and return within 30 days providing all our tags and labels are intact, no questions asked.

Alternatively, just get in touch and provide us with your measurements and we’ll do our best to advise you. We know from experience that there's no such thing as 'perfect fit' and that no two body shapes are ever the same.

If you can’t find your size, please get in touch. Our reason for starting Hale was to provide great fitting, stylish and comfortable clothing for guys with your body shape, so if we don’t match up to that we’ll do our best to put it right. Over time we will be expanding and refining our range and sizing to ensure we can accommodate as many of you as possible.

We want guys like us to be able to find and enjoy wearing great fitting clothing, hassle free, and with the help of you and the wider sport and fitness community we are constantly reviewing and evolving our sizing and fit to ensure we deliver on that promise.

We’re currently an online only business, so we have no central ‘flagship’ store. We are however currently considering opening short term pop-up stores at some stage in the future, so stay close to our social channels for any breaking announcements.

Our garments are made from natural materials and crafted using different looms, stitching and finishing processes. We include care instructions with all of our products – just check your swing tag, along with the sewn in wash guide for more information.

In general, we advise 30C washes, air drying, finished with a warm iron if required. Never put our garments in the tumble dryer – natural fibres are comfortable and durable, but are likely to shrink significantly when exposed to extreme heat for long periods of time.

Recycled your swing tag?

Don’t worry – just locate your garment on our site and hit ‘care’ for the same information. Alteratively just send us a note and we'll be happy to help.

We will always aim to dispatch orders within 1 working day. With our free, express delivery you can expect to receive your clothing within 1-2 days from the point of placing the order. For the fastest available delivery order before 3pm.

We know that next day delivery is a priority for anyone shopping online, so we’re working to provide this as a future delivery option. We’ll let you know as soon as this is available.

We will always send you an order confirmation email once your order is placed to let you know everything has gone through successfully. We’ll then send a follow up email when your order has been dispatched and is on its way.

For complete peace of mind, you can log into your account to view your current and past orders, as well as live progress information regarding processing and dispatch status.

Our online store currently does not accept orders that need to be sent outside the UK. However if you live outside the UK and want to get your hands on our clothing, let us know and we will do our best to deliver. We're working to be able to deliver to the EU in the near future.

We’re proud to say that our clothes are designed and prototyped in the UK, then expertly finished by our experienced supplier in Portugal.

Our distribution centre then quality checks and hand finishes the packaging for each individual order before sending them directly to your door.

We currently use a mix of packaging for our orders – Level 4 recyclable LDPE (Low Density Polyethene) and 100% Recyclable and biodegradable FSC, Organic Soil certified 120 GSM brown Kraft paper mailer bags for larger orders.

For our first production run we are using an industry standard clear plastic to protect our garments which unfortunately is not currently recyclable – however we will be transitioning to 100% easily recyclable or biodegradable materials for all future production.

We enable restocking notifications on products that have sold out.

You can expect to be sent an email confirming you're on our list to be notified, and then another when the product is back in stock.

We highly recommend signing up for these notifications as it means you'll be the first to know when a high demand product is back on sale.

Return within 30 days, no questions asked. We will always refund any products that you are not satisfied with provided you return them to us in a saleable condition – labels and tags intact please!

Fill in the returns slip included with your order, ticking the box and adding any comments to indicate whether you would like a return or an exchange, noting the size you'd prefer. This will help us understand why you are returning the item and help us improve your experience.

If possible re-use the mailer bag or box that your order came in and send back to us at the address listed below. We’d always recommend keeping hold of your proof of postage receipt until you receive a returns email confirmation from us. If you’ve lost your invoice or label, please send your items back to:

We’ll always aim to process returns as quickly as we can – no one likes waiting for refunds to clear.

Depending on your method of postage, we will always aim to action refunds within 1-2 working days of us receiving your item, providing it is returned to us in saleable condition.

It can then take between 3-5 business days for your bank to process and for the money to appear back in your account.
